Hello, Snow!

Well, I'm back at UVM. My study abroad experience in London has ended, and I have to say that it's taken some time to get readjusted. At first I was completely overwhelmed with moving into my apartment, starting classes, and running into familiar faces at all turns on campus. Now, I am starting to feel at home again. Because I hadn't been in Burlington since the summer, I was expecting to return to the city as I had left it-sunny, warm, and wonderful. Boy, did I get a shock when I arrived in mid-January to below freezing temperatures! Since I've been back I've taken advantage of the outdoors as much as possible, although I still miss running on the embankment past Westminster Abbey everyday. The other day I looked out my window, expecting to see Big Ben, and all I got was a peek into my neighbor's living room. Small things like that still get me down, but I am happy to be reunited with my friends and the city that I truly call home. And the plans for the rest of the week..? Snowboard, snowboard, snowboard!
