74 and Sunny!??
My first semester back in the states is quickly drawing to an end. While I can't believe that it's almost over, I'm definitely ready for summer! We've had a few days so far that have been really warm, and it's so nice to see all of the students in shorts and flip flops, laying out on the green, throwing frisbees, and just enjoying the weather! Days like that makes the entire winter seem worth it. Sometimes I think that if I had gone to a school with warmer weather, I'd get tired of the heat. But at UVM, those warm days are EXACTLY what we need, especially with the pressure of finals drawing near. Speaking of finals, I'm spending the next few weeks preparing myself for them. This year I have a mix of papers and tests, and I'm trying to get enough steam to power through. I picked my classes for next semester and I'm happy with my schedule. I am particularly excited for a class that I am taking in the Sociology department about TV and Society. Can I actually get credit for watching TV!? Let's hope! But it's probably best to concentrate on the next few weeks of class, rather than the fact that it's supposed to be 74 and sunny on Thursday!
